A weekly class for those that need flexibility, a space to create and an environment to be with like-minded people! Skills and techniques can be taught in a wide variety of media and sessions can be tailored to suit individual interests. Groups are small, allowing for lots of 1-to-1 teaching and guidance and easy group discussions. Feel free to bring your own project ideas to work on, and playful experimenting is encouraged!

A weekly 'pay as you go' class, suitable for beginners and those wishing to build confidence, but all are welcome as drawing is an important foundation of any of the creative disciplines. Groups are small, allowing for classes to be tailored to suit individuals. We will explore and play with the humble pencil, charcoal, ink and colour pencil to name a few.

This class is ideally suited to secondary - school age children and teenagers. Children will be given a brief or project, and encouraged to respond in a way that encourages self-expression with skills and techniques being taught in a relaxed and fun way.

A workshop of creativity and mindfulness. A time to relax with tea and cake in welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This isn't a formal art class, but an opportunity to escape and unwind with some simple techniques and fine art processes. The focus will be on playful experimentation although guidance will be given. We will aim to do something different each time so book just one, or several!

An exciting opportunity to dip your toe and have a go or brush up on those skills. This course is suitable for all abilities. We will be covering the basics, improving observational skills and learning about line, shape, form, colour, texture, space and tone! We will playfully explore a range of different media, such as pencil, charcoal and ink as well as a few others. The group is small, and the course is fun and informal. After the first week, sessions can be tailored to suit abilities and interests, so you can come with some ideas, and maybe even some photographs (or pictures that you have taken on your phone or tablet) of things you would like to draw.

A 6 week 'taster' course, fun, relaxed, playful and informal. Suitable for all abilities. A whistle stop tour, to explore a range of different painting and drawing techniques and processes. Sessions will be tailored to suit abilities and interests in a lovely small group setting! You will be encouraged to bring your own subject matter, of things that you would like to paint or draw, once we get going, and materials too, if you'd like.

We will explore grounds, surfaces, underpainting, mediums that can be added to improve fluidity and create structure and impasto painting using palette knives. Acrylics are a fantastically versatile and forgiving paint. They are great for mixed-media work and can be used to paint fine detail or bold abstracts.

An expressive and semi-abstract landscape painting workshop, using palette knives and structure gel to create a piece full of colour, layers and texture! Bring a photograph to inspire you if you wish.

Paint water and skies, boats and birds, reflections and texture. Bring along an image to paint from/inspire you.
