A weekly class for those that need flexibility, a space to create and an environment to be with like-minded people! Skills and techniques can be taught in a wide variety of media and sessions can be tailored to suit individual interests. Groups are small, allowing for lots of 1-to-1 teaching and guidance and easy group discussions. Feel free to bring your own project ideas to work on, and playful experimenting is encouraged!

A weekly 'pay as you go' class, suitable for beginners and those wishing to build confidence, but all are welcome as drawing is an important foundation of any of the creative disciplines. Groups are small, allowing for classes to be tailored to suit individuals. We will explore and play with the humble pencil, charcoal, ink and colour pencil, pastels and markers.

This class is ideally suited to ages 10+. Children will be given a brief or project, and encouraged to respond in a way that encourages self-expression with skills and techniques being taught in a relaxed and fun way.

A workshop of creativity and mindfulness. A time to relax with refreshments in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This isn't a formal art class, but an opportunity to escape and unwind with some simple techniques and fine art processes. The focus will be on playful experimentation although some guidance will be given. We will aim to do something different each time so book just one, or several!

A 6 week 'taster' course, fun, relaxed, playful and informal. Suitable for all abilities. A whistle stop tour, to explore a range of different painting and drawing techniques and processes. Sessions will be tailored to suit abilities and interests in a lovely small group setting! You will be encouraged to bring your own subject matter, of things that you would like to paint or draw, once we get going, and materials too, if you'd like.

We will explore grounds, surfaces, underpainting, mediums that can be added to improve fluidity and create structure and impasto painting using palette knives. Acrylics are a fantastically versatile and forgiving paint. They are great for mixed-media work and can be used to paint fine detail or bold abstracts.

This short, 5 week course is suitable for those with some previous watercolour painting experience, but would benefit and enjoy some studio time and advice and tuition on how to further progress. You will need to bring your own materials and you are welcome to bring your project ideas.

Come and explore the world of watercolours and everything that it has to offer. This course is suitable for beginners and refreshers and after the first class, sessions will be tailored to individual abilites and interests, with class sizes of no more than 4. We will play and experiment with different techniques, enjoying the process and building confidence.

An expressive and semi-abstract landscape painting workshop, using palette knives and structure gel to create a piece full of colour, layers and texture! Bring a photograph to inspire you if you wish.
Friday 6th Feb : 10-12.30pm

Paint water and skies, boats and birds, reflections and texture. We will practice some techniques and build these into a piece of work. Ideally bring along a photograph that you have taken (printed on your phone) to paint from/inspire you.

Fun, playful, and therapeutic. A time to relax and enjoy creating: this workshop is relaxed and not so much a formal art class as a chamce to experiement, play and get creative! We will use magazines and patterned papers and other materials to create a collaged piece, with yummy refreshments.
